VT603 Late roman tunic

Description

From the 3d cent on, and especially during the 4th, the tunica will be decorated with embroideries. The clavii are not embroidered, and large embroidered patches, called orbiculi, are often to be found on the shoulders and the bottom of the tunica.

Our tunica shows solar patterns on the orbiculi, and dolphins on the clavii. 134cm chest perimeter, 110cm long, sleeves 57cm. Cotton.
