Description
This saber was designed by Le Duc in 1804. Strongly curved, it is clearly a strange design, intended for a strange unit, the imperial guard sailors companies, which weared a hussar type uniform and fought... ashore and afoot.

These swords and sabers are high quality copies. Blades are made of forged and tempered steel. They might not be used for fencing, though.
