SW553 Russian Hussar saber

Description

Dated from the end of the 18th century, this saber equipped the Russian hussar who fought during the Napoleonic wars. It may also be used by French hussars, who used to use weapons taken from the enemy. The design is pretty similar to the French imperial guard light horse saber.

Hilt made of brass, blade of steel. Grip leather covered. Scabbard : wood, leather and brass.
Length 100cm, weight 1kg.
