SW425 Court sword

Description

Most officers used from the 18th on not to wear their usual swords when going to receptions or dinners, but lighter ones, although also usable. These swords were called court sword, and society swords after the revolution.

This court sword is intended to be used for show or disguise, unlike the other swords of this section. The hilt is made of brass and wood, and the blade of soft iron.

× These swords and sabers are high quality copies. Blades are made of forged and tempered steel. They might not be used for fencing, though.
