SW373 - Rapière à monture "à branches multiples", fin XVIe s

Description

This is another typical late 16th cent rapier. The blade is quite wide, somehow between the rapiers of the 17th cent and the Reitschwerts.

Length 115cm (blade 95cm). Weigth 1200g. Leather scabbard with steel brackets. Basket hilt made of nickeled steel. Flexible high carbon steel blade.
