Description
This sword was used by a Coustiller, belonging to a small 15teen cent French fighting unit called "gendarmes d'ordonnance". The unit was built around a knight, with three horse bowmen, a squire and a lighter fighter, the Coustiller. Plate armors were no match for its sharp and tapered blade, designed to find the armor's weaknesses.
Length 57cm, blade 42cm, 0,8kg. Scabbard made of wood an leather, with iron brackets.
