SW166B Ambiorix celtic sword, late Tene period

Description

This is anothe typical late Tene word (D1 and D2 periods). Used from the middle of the second century BC, until the gallic wars time. This is a typical weapon of the end of the gallic independance, with its scadder scabbard. Its name comes from an Eburon leade warrior of the 1st cent BC. This weapon is a sister to Durnacos sword, with a variation in the ladder and the hilt.
