Description
Made after the 5th century Feltwell spatha, found in the hypocaust a late roman villa. It should have been considered as a very valuable items, for having it so hidden.
Steel blade, wooden hilt and grip, wooden scabbard covered by leather, with tinned brass brackets. About 90cm, blade length 75cm.
