SW133 3d century spatha, Lauriacum-Hromovka

Description

During the 3d century, a new kind of spatha, called Lauriacum-Hromovka appears. The suspensions rings disappear, to be replaced by a brass piece fixed to the scabbard for the balteus. The blade shows two parallel grooves to gain on weight.

The hilt is made of bone. 85cm long
