SW118 Hoplite sword

Made after an artifact found in Campovalano, this sword was called Xyphoi by the Greeks. It is the typical hoplite weapon - even if a kopis could also have been used, and if the Greek warrior mainly fought with its sword.

75cm long. Hilt made of solid brass. Wooden scabbard covered in leather, with brass parts.

× All these weapons have steel or bronze blades, but are not intended for fencing, unless otherwise specified.
