SW094 Crusader sword, 13th cent

Description

The crusade time period saw the birth of many chevalry orders. They all weared crosses, all being diiferent, either in shape, or color, or both. This one is a typical 13th cent crusader sword, decorated with bottony crosses on the pommel and the scabbard, a very nice tribute to the christian warriors of this era.

Steel blade, steel pommel, brasse hilt. Scabbard made of wood covered in leather, iron brackets. Total length 95cm, blade 78,5 (blade's width at hilt 4,5cm). Weight 1200g.
