SC12 iron brass coated scale

Description

Scale armor comes from the oriental part of the ancient world. Rows after rows of scales are sewed on a strong fabric tunic, and also together. The next row covers the first one, protecting the sewing. Such armors appear during the antiquity, and will remain until the middle age.

Our 5 holed scales are typical roman or Greek ones. Width 25mm, height 37mm, main hole diameter 4mm, other holes 2,7mm. Made of iron with a brass coating. As it is only a brass coating, you have to be careful when cleaning the armor not to use aggressive chemicals.
