HL614 Adrian helmet

Description

The Adrian helmet was the French army answer to the many head injuries suffered by the troopers in the trenches. Unlike the British and German ones, the only protection was, until 1915, a small iron cap weared under the hat.

Made of soft iron, the helmet gave a real protecting against shrapnel and stones, but was not intended to stop a direct bullet hit. Made of 5 parts, equipped with a leather liner, our helmet is a piece every collector must have !
