HL200 Vendel Viking helmet

Description

Made after helmets found in Valsgard, in Sweden, dated frome the Vendel period (6th cent AD to 8th cent AD), our replica is a typical google helmet, named from the shape of the face protection. Our replica is richly decorated, with embossed ans cast brass pieces, making it fitting for a high ranking viking warrior. As most of the helmet of this time period, the protection is completed by a chainmail.

Our helmet is made in blackened iron, with cast brass pieces. A blackened steel chainmail finishes it. Weight 3,2kg, 19cm wide and 22cm long (inner dimensions).
