Description

This helmet is the first one of the imperial Gallic roman helmet series. It was named after the Gallic helmets of the late Tene, which came in use in the roman army at the end of the 1st cent BC.

Found in Holland, at Noviomagus, this helmet goes back to the end of the 1st century BC. Made of iron. 22cm ong and 18cm wide.
