Description
Made entirely of iron, with brass trim, this prototype is linked to the armatura of the Eques, recognisable by the absence of a crest and the full protection of the face. The cheek guards are ajar but do not open completely.
Nevertheless, this unique specimen can be worn without difficulty, provided the interior is fitted to your head. Some adjustments are therefore necessary before use, ideally with a fastening device (hook, lace, etc.) to secure the two halves of the face protection.
