AC162 Hoplomachis greaves

Description

These long greaves were typically used by small shielded gladiators, such as thracians and hoplomacus.

Many were found in the gladiatorial caserna in Pompei. They were quite heavy, and decorated with embossed patterns. Our reproductions have no decorative pattern, escept for the knee shape.

Made of tinned steel, 56cm long, 2,2kg each.
