AC152B Brasse Carlisle newstead manica

Description

Most sculptures show roman legionaries without arm protection, but it was not the case in real life. The right arm being particularly exposed, it was protected by a special armor, named manica. Pieces of this body armor were found in the Carlisle camp, in UK, allowing it to be understood and reconstructed.

Made after the Carlisle Manica, in brass with an inner leather padding. Closes with straps and buckles.
