AC150inox Lorica segmentata stainless steel

Description

The lorica segmentata, made of several iron bands riveted on leather bands, most certainly appears in the roman army at the very beginning of the first cent AD. Quicker to make than the chainmail, it offers also a better protection, but is also quite fragile, due to the leather bands. This one is a reproduction of a "Corbridge" type (1st century), and is made of stainless steel - which is far easier to keep clean than steel !
