SW292 - Practical Viking Sword - 170€ - Pictures

This Practical Viking sword is based on the Godfred sword, whose design originated in 9th century Scandinavia. The lobate pommel and down-turned guard are typical of Viking swords of the period, as is the broad blade with its deep, full-length fullers. The sword is well-balanced and, with a weight slightly over 1kg, it is very quick.

Length of the blade 79cm, total length 93cm, weigth 970g. Paul Chen made. The grip is permanently mounted and the tang is riveted for safety. The blade is fullered for balance and features 1.6mm wide edges and rounded tips for safety. The hardwood grips are leather-covered. The scabbards are fabricated in glass-filled resin, to provide great impact resistance, to eliminate swelling and to minimize blade corrosion problems. It features belt rings that adjust to allow vertical or horizontal carry.



SW295 - Norman sword, Xth-XIth century - 170€ - Pictures



This practical medieval sword's hilt has a typical shape, which gets back to the 10th century, and Hasting's time, but was also used during the first crusade. This is mostly a cutting weapon.

SW291 - Practical Medieval Sword XIIth-XIIIth century - 170€ - Pictures

This Practical Medieval sword is based on an original to be seen in a British museum, used by one of England’s finest knights, Sir William Marshall, who served the crown faithfully under Henry II, Richard the Lionheart and Jack Lackland. It is perfectly fitting for the 12th and 13th century.

SW293 - Practical Hand and a Half Sword - XVth century - 190€ - Pictures

This practical sword is based on a classioc design of the beginning of the XVth century. With its highly sharpened edge, it was made to penetrate between the plates of the armors. I may be usesd either ahorse or on foot.

SW259 - Katsbalger, Lansquenet short sword - 299€ - Special order only - Pictures


The traditionnal picture of the Lansquenet, the XVth century hired german or swiss mercenary, shows him with a huge two handed sword. Some of them were pikemen, and had no use for such a big weapon. They used to wear a short sword, whose guard has a typical pattern, called Katsbalger.

Length 82cm (blade 69cm). EEC made, no scabbard.

SW265 - LIONHEART SWORD 12th-13th cent. - 149€ - Pictures


The single-hand Lionheart Sword is typical of the cruciform-hilt style of the crusading knights of Europe in the 12th and 13th centuries. The wheel pommel and slightly turned-down bow-tie guard make this a very attractive sword indeed!.

Total length 90cm, blade's length 69cm, weigth 1220g. Leather covered hilt, scabbard made of leather covered wood with iron brackets.
The steel is AISI 1566 and the HRC of the blades is approximately 52.



SW269 - Witham's sword, 12th-13th cent. - 149€ - Pictures


The River Witham Sword (SR092) was dredged from the River Witham near the town of Lincoln during work carried out in 1788. The sword may be a remnant of the Battle of Lincoln in 1141; however, it was most likely constructed between 1250-1300 CE. The inscription on the blade reads +NDXOXCHMDRCHDXORVI+.

SW267 - War sword, 14th cent. - 149€ - Pictures


The War Sword is a hand-and-a-half design from the early 14th century. The hardwood grip and elongated scent-stopper pommel make the 32” blade surprisingly easy to handle.

Total length 105cm, blade's length 81cm, weigth 1500g. Leather covered hilt, scabbard made of leather covered wood.
The steel is AISI 1566 and the HRC of the blades is approximately 52.


SW268 - Henry V sword, 15th cent. - 149€ - Pictures


The Henry V Sword is modeled after the sword hung over the tomb of one of England’s great warrior kings. The single-handed cut-and-thrust weapon combines a relatively short sturdy blade with elegant down-swept quillons and a wheel pommel.

Total length 88cm, blade's length 70cm, weigth 1420g. Leather covered hilt, scabbard made of leather covered wood with iron brackets.
The steel is AISI 1566 and the HRC of the blades is approximately 52.



SW294 - Bastard sword - XVth - XVIth century - 240€ - Pictures

The strong and fearless Swiss and Germans originally carried these early weapons, although Bastard swords soon became popular in other parts of Europe. The term “Bastard” undoubtedly comes from the fact that the sword, because of its design, has no legitimate claim to being classified as either a uniquely single-handed or two-handed weapon. The Bastard Sword was a weapon developed for the use of the foot soldier and had become quite common by the early 1500’s. The combat styles developed for the Bastard Sword were the particular speciality of the Northern Europe Cultures, with the German nations being at the forefront in its development and use.

Length of the blade 98cm, total length 127cm, weigth 1200g. Paul Chen made. Our Bastard Sword is finished in an antique patina, making for an outstanding authentic appearance. Scabbard made of wood. Fully tempered blade.


SW264 - Two handed sword, XVIth century- 370€ - Pictures - Special order only

This one is the typical two handed Lansquenet sword. If they were said to be able to shut down a cavalry charge with these, theri wearers were mostly placed at the angles of pikemen squares.

Length 150cm. EEC made, no scabbard.

These daggers have a forged and tempered blade, and therefore maybe used. The edges
and the tip are not sharpened.

SW250 - Dagger XIth-XIIIth century - 130€ - Pictures


This double edged dagger matches perfectly the swords of this period, being itself a shorter replica of the weapons.

Length of the blade 31cm, total length 48cm, weigth 900g. EEC made. The grip is permanently mounted and the tang is riveted for safety. The hardwood grips are leather-covered. No scabbard.

During the 15th century, the blades become thinner, to go trough armor more easily.

Length of the blade 24cm, total length 39cm, weigth 300g. EEC made. The grip is permanently mounted and the tang is riveted for safety. The hardwood grips are leather-covered. No scabbard.


SW251 - Modern times dagger - 130€ - Pictures

At the end of the medieval time, the aspect of the weaponds become more important. Such weapons were also weared at social occasion, and they will soon become the Main Gauche.
