SP159 - Roman pilum - 120€ -

SP161 - Roman pilum, augustean time - 100€ -

The main difference with the SP159 is the general look of the spear, more rustic. The three rivits are typical.

Weigth 2kg. Length 210cm. Iron shaft 62cm.Poids 2kg. Due to the length of the pilum, sending is made trough UPS only (40€ for one piece, plus 5€ for each other piece ordered).



SP160 - Bronze spearhead and spear butt - 120€ -

Made of bronze, and not brass, these are replica of greek pieces. Head 35cm long. the butt may be seen in the british museum (32cm). Inner diameter of the items : 2.2cm.

 

SP154 Spearhead - 50€

This is the most classical kind of spearhead, in use till the middleadge. Used to thrust and to cut, due to the relatively flexible shaft used.

With its most original shape, this spearhead was used by gallic warriors untill the roman conquest. The length of the blade clearly shows that it was used to cut, too.

Copy of an original hasta to be seen in Wiesbaden museum. This strange iron and brass "spear"head was used as a symbol for a petty officer holding on special duty (customs, guard...)
