This belt is a copy of the one weared by Facilis, Centurio in the XX legio, mid Ist century AD. Length 90cm, 6.5cm wide. Brass embossed plates rivetted on leather. Buckle made of cast brass.

This cornu comes from an original found in Pompei's gladiator camp. It was also used in the roman army.

With two places for cooking pots and a grill, this is a typical roman stove. Used directly above a fire.
