| The story began at the IWA, mid-march 2006, when we discussed there the items we could help to improve... The Mainz gladius was on the list. The first drawing, pictures and commentaries were sent on march 2006, 22th. |

some exchanges about the blade shape, we received the first pictures
of the first prototype on may 22th. |

| An then followed, on june 29th, by the first try of the plates' pattern. Still work to be done... | ||

| On december 18th, another imporved prototype. The general shape is better, but the top and bottom plates have to be corrected. | ||
